Your 2027 Iron Road Healthcare Medicare Benefits: What’s Changing and What’s Staying the Same
As we prepare for 2027, we want to make sure Iron Road Healthcare Medicare members understand the changes coming to their coverage and what will remain the same.
One important thing is not changing: your monthly premium will remain $235 in 2027. Your premium includes both your medical and prescription drug coverage.
While some cost-sharing amounts will change, Iron Road Healthcare remains focused on providing comprehensive coverage, nationwide access and benefits that support our members throughout the year.
What’s Changing for 2027?
Beginning January 1, 2027, the following medical cost-sharing amounts will apply:

| Outpatient services | $50 |
| Inpatient hospital | $100 per stay |
| Emergency room | $75 |
| Annual medical out-of-pocket maximum | $500 |
These services had $0 member cost sharing in 2026. Once you reach the $500 annual medical out-of-pocket maximum, you will not be required to pay additional medical copayments through the end of the year.
Prescription Drug Changes
There are also a few changes to prescription drug coverage for 2027:

| Tier 5 coinsurance | 33% | 30% |
| Annual prescription out-of-pocket maximum | $2,200 | $2,400 |
For Tier 3, 4 and 5 medications, members will pay the first $300 out of pocket. After meeting the $300 deductible, standard copayments or coinsurance will apply until the $2,400 prescription out-of-pocket maximum is reached. After that point, the member pays $0 in prescription copayments or coinsurance for the remainder of the year.
What’s Staying the Same?
Your Iron Road Healthcare Medicare coverage will continue to provide access to enhanced benefits, preventive services and nationwide provider access with providers who accept Medicare. Prescription benefits will also continue to include the same low copayments described in the
